Steak and Chips

Had to have a steak dinner in an English pub. 10oz Rump with Hollandaise Sauce, cooked medium rare, served with peas and chips.

Although it’s a familiar meal, the tastes are subtly different. Flavours are gentler, like the climate. Not lacking in flavour though – very tasty and satisfying, nor better than Aus, just softer, a bit sweeter and more spacious.

Accompanied by an ice cold Guinness.
